| Cheryl
has been a professional photographer for the past 11 years.
Before she made photography a profession, Cheryl worked in various
healthcare settings in Illinois. Her personal experiences and
her knowledge of the medical field contributed to her interest in
using her photography to visually enhance the surroundings of others and
positively add to their daily routines. Even
though she continues to photograph with this in mind, Cheryl also continues
to pursue her own vision of the world as it surrounds her. She
really enjoys going down the road less traveled.
"I try to use the lens of the camera to see that which one normally passes by in the rush of daily life. The details of a leaf, lines on a piece of driftwood, the cobwebs on a partially opened shutter, or a crumbling wall ... these all have their own beauty, and allow the viewer participation as they interpret the image." |
